Purpose of this Document
Due to past uncertainty and confusion, it has become necessary to specifically define those who are members of the camping party (those who are allowed to use the campground because they are covered by the campsite rental), and those who are considered guests of the camping party. Also, we hope to clearly define when, and under what conditions guests (anyone not a member of the camping party) are allowed to be present in the campground.
Campsite is Rented by a Married Couple
(this section probably applies to the majority of our campers)
When the party that rents the campsite is a married couple, they are considered to be the heads of the campsite. That married couple and any of their children (NOT grandchildren) who meet ALL of the following criteria:
1. Under age 26
2. Permanently living at home, has never moved out and moved back in (living away while at college is an allowed exception)
3. Has never established their own family unit – never been married, has no significant other living with them, and has never had children of their own
are considered to be part of the camping party.
Campsite is Rented by an Individual
When the party that rents the campsite is renting as an unmarried individual, this individual is considered to be the head of the camping party and may designate 1 other person (in today’s world, a Plus-1) to be part of the camping party for that year’s camping season. As in the married couple section above, any children of this individual head of the camping party (NOT grandchildren), and (NOT children of the Plus-1) who meet all of the following criteria:
1. Under age 26
2. Permanently living at home, has never moved out and moved back in (living away while at college is an allowed exception)
3. Has never established their own family unit – never been married, has no significant other living with them, and has never had children of their own
are considered to be part of the camping party
To repeat in different words, and to be clear, any of the following are NOT members of the camping party:
Anyone age 26 and over.
Anyone who is not over 26 but who has ever moved out (living away at college during school is an allowed exception) and returned to live at home.
Anyone who has ever been married.
Anyone who has had a child of their own.
Anyone who has a significant other living with them.
Any child of a Plus-1
ALL are NOT members of the camping party.
ANYONE NOT A MEMBER OF THE CAMPING PARTY, coming in to enjoy the campground environment and amenities, IS A GUEST and, as such, is subject to guest fees and restrictions on when they are alloweanyd to be in the campground.
Any non-camper coming into the campground to drop off or to pick up someone, or something, must still be checked in at the time of their arrival, and said person must depart within 10 minutes of the time they arrived, or they will be considered a guest and will need to be registered accordingly.
When Guests Are Allowed in the Campground
Guests are allowed in the campground only when a member of the camping party age 16 and over is present and the head of the camping party is aware of their presence in the campground. If you choose to allow a member of your camping party (age 16 and over) to have a guest when you are not present, the following applies:
1. You are responsible for the actions of your child and that child’s guests.
2. You are required to know when your child is having guests.
3. Your child, or you, are required to make sure all of these guests are checked-in, per the rules.
4. Your child and their guest(s) are aware of and follow all campground rules and speed limits.
All guests must be checked in immediately when they arrive at the campground. Check-in can be done by providing us with the following information:
1. The number of adults and children in your guest party
2. The number of days each guest will be present in the campground
3. Registered guests must still check-in also, so we will know when they are in the campground.
Check-in Options
1. Send the above information to either John or Linda in a text message (see contact info at very bottom)
2. Come to the office in person and fill out and deposit the form at the drop box located outside the entrance to the office (located at our campsite)
Time of Year Guests are Allowed
GUESTS ALLOWED - Start of Mother’s Day weekend through Sept. 30th
NO GUESTS ALLOWED - Oct.1st through the start of Mother’s Day weekend
Registered Guests
If you are taking advantage of our option to register a guest for the season, a member of the camping party must still be present for the registered guest to be in the campground and they must still be checked in by text or in person each time they visit.
Registering a guest simply means that you have opted to pay a fixed rate for that particular guest in advance, but that does not make that person a member of your camping party and does not give that person free license to come down any time they choose, unsupervised.
To register a guest, we must be provided with the following information:
1. Name of guest to be registered
2. Age category of that guest (7-17, or 18 and over)
3. Your relationship to that guest (your child, parent, friend etc.)
Registered Guest age 26 and over Exception
One exception to this rule, as a trial for this season, we will allow a head of the camping party to have one of their adult children, who even though not a member of the camping party, but who is a registered guest, be at the site without a camping party member being present. This is only ONE registerd adult offspring of the head of the camping party only, that may be present at a time on their own. This guest may not have friends, children or anyone else with them when a member of the camping party is not present! If this policy leads to any problems it will be discontinued immediately, without notice. Also, if you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact us for further clarification.
How Payments are Calculated
All guest fees are per calendar day. If a guest is in the campground any part of any day, for example, arrives 11pm Friday and leaves 6am Saturday, that is still 2 days of guest fees. All guest fees must be paid by the time of the guest(s) departure.
Current Year Guest Fee Amounts:

Adults (18 years and older) -------- $10.00 per day
Children (7 years to 17 years) ------$5.00 per day
Under 7 years old ------------------ No charge
